Chakanda Clothing Company is an Educational Lifestyle Brand. Our focus is to use fashion to teach and promote Black  history and culture, in an effort to uplift people of African descent.

Chakanda Clothing Company takes the position that it is our responsibility to educate all Black people  about their rich and diverse history and the ongoing struggle for Black liberation.     

At Chakanda Clothing, we seek to have our brand and each design we create serve as a walking billboard that promotes African history and keeps the African liberation struggle at the forefront of the minds of all Black people.

We understand that positive images of black culture will encourage our people
to learn more about their history, which we hope will encourage them to become more active in the struggle for our liberation.
